The main issue with processed diet in a developing country like India is a fragmentation of market by simply various brands due to the not enough a leading and strong economic player. Also, there is a lots of micro advertising market segmentation taking place inside the Southern says. The mixed spice market is heavily fragmented with good local players in almost all states. For example , amongst the high spice consuming states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, a variety of players are present. In order to get an in depth understanding about the ISS retailers' perception with respect to various brands of spices, a report was carried out from Maitri Advertising Pvt Ltd, Kochi unit. A short organisation study was likewise done combined with the problem focused study. The research focused on the perception of ISS suppliers towards different brands of crammed spices in Kochi. In addition, it focused on figuring out the most acquired brand of loaded spices in Kochi. In order to know the spices or herbs market comprehensive and to find the feel with the market, a market study was done in Kochi city. Then a survey through interview with strucutured forms was conducted among ISS (Independent Do it yourself Service) Suppliers. The test size intended for the review was 50 out of the numerous ISS retail outlets and no probability ease sampling approach was followed. The analysis and model of the data collected is carried out by percentage analysis which included the use of pie-charts, bar layouts etc . It is found that quality and advertising may be the major aspect for the purchase of a particular brand of spices. Eastern is a brand of spices that has the ideal sales and goodwill among the retailers.
